Our new Hitachi S3700N Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) allows us to view large samples (up to 12 inches in diameter) of metal, plastic, oxides/ceramic, or organic materials, and to efficiently perform the imaging needed. The motorized sample stage quickly and accurately will move from spot to spot and back to previous spots if needed.

The Oxford Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) provides Elemental Material Analysis for identification of various materials important to the analysis.  Along with performing Materials Engineering examinations in house, Synergy Technologies routinely performs Materials Engineering examinations in the field (such as at a fire or explosion) or at other labs.
